Create a design language. Design requires an aesthetic awareness and should be an integration of form and function, where function leads the way for a clearly defined idea to push the boundaries.

Consistency is key. Simplicity is the path to great design. It allows the ideas to form at the core of the project and develop into a strong design language that can easily be expanded upon. Be consistent in your thinking – it will give you strength.

Keep things tight & tidy. Structure and organization will help you reach your goal with your ideas intact by nourishing the design process, giving it space to breathe. Less is more; a well-worn expression worth gold.

Endeavour to be open. Unrealistic expectations should be kept at bay by vigorous communication between designer and client throughout the project. An exchange of ideas & views is paramount to a successful partnership.

Remember who you are. The client’s identity should be at the core of the project and radiate through the ideas to be supported by the overall design. A strong design should maintain who the client is; it is all too easy to be swayed by fashion and frolics. |

Shameless Creative is a multi-disciplinary creative company started in 2008 by Johanna Olsen. At the forefront is Interior Architecture and Design, supported by creative components such as Master Planning, Environmental Branding and Photography. Through close collaboration with the client we will arrive at a creative goal, achieving an accomplished outcome for both parties.
JOHANNA OLSEN is an interior architect/designer who has realised a variety of projects over the past eight years in a number of countries. Her work incorporates a range of skills including Master Planning & Change Management, Creative Direction, Concept Design & Space Planning, Architectural Documentation & Detailing, Furniture Design, Product selection, 3D Presentation, Environmental Branding and Photography.
A native Swede, Johanna has spent many years abroad living in places like Australia, the UK, France, Switzerland and the US.
Johanna possesses a great passion for design, which ensures she is both a valuable team member and an inspirational team leader. Her strength lies in her ability to clearly communicate ideas both visually and verbally and to realise projects that are highly functional and aesthetically inspiring.
She successfully applies design principles and problem solving skills to a range of projects, varying in scale and function, providing the client with a highly individual & tailored design solution based on their specific needs and the design brief. Her skills range across a variety of design disciplines, which allows her to visualise a holistic design resolution, ensuring a coherent brand & design outcome.
